I recently acquired a position where a LM 1500 is in use. However, the LM is running a very old version (5.0-78). I spoke with sales and they told me that I can no longer receive support for this product, however, I was wondering if there is any way that I can upgrade this to a more usable firmware (ideally 6.0-36) without purchasing a new device altogether. Please let me know if there is anything at all I can do to salvage this device since in its current state, it is not very functional for our needs.
