We are running Exchange 2010 and have a problem with remote sites connecting to Exchange when using Outlook. I can log into OWA without any problems and anyone local to the Exchange Server and the LB are working fine. If a client in a remote site opens Outlook it just sits and eventually freezes and never loads the profile. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be causing this to happen. I am still testing this on our sites and if I remove the host file entries and point it to the live environment everything works fine. So I know that there is no problem accessing the Exchange Server without going through the LB. As soon as I point it to the VIP nothing happens. Any ideas?
